Senior Flex/.NET Developer - Work at a Remote Location

This position is able to work remotely from home office. Client does not wish to relocate anyone; they want someone reliable to head up the development effort and manage items of development that may be outsourced to another IT firm. So the chosen candidate needs to know their own capabilities, be able complete work as planned and outsource as necessary.
Senior Flex/.NET Developer-Flex 2.0, C#, .NET, SQL Server 2000, ASP.NET 2.0
This individual will be responsible for managing and developing Rich Internet Applications (RIA), primarily using Adobe FLEX, implementing these applications in a .NET environment with SQL Server 2000 as the data platform. The position is responsible for translating design mock-ups and motion concepts into fully functional Flex applications utilizing common design patterns and object oriented methodologies.
As a leader of the project team, the position will be responsible for application analysis, design, coding, testing, documenting, and maintaining as well as upgrading existing applications. The position will work closely with senior management to ensure their vision is accurately represented in the final product.
Responsible for overseeing the development process
* Designing and developing Flex applications in a .NET environment using SQL Server and TSQL as the data platform.
* Take design and motion concepts and effectively translate them into a working Flex architecture
* Communicate with senior management on production status
* Manage related development efforts of sub-contractors
* Develop architectures, scope documents, content guides or whatever else is required to organize and define the project
* Develop and manage budgets and schedules; complete projects on time and within budget
* Balance workloads among team members, delegating and coordinating as needed
Company: The Company is a strong application development company located in New York that does not require relocation for the right developer. The development efforts are in the advertising industry.
Requirements: 2+ years of Flash and Flex development in a data environment. 3+ years of ASP.Net experience and C#. ASP.NET 2.0 preferred. 3+ years of SQL Server skills/experience, including TSQL.
Non-Tech Skills: excellent communication; must work as part of a team and be able to lead.

Flex Developer Contract Position with ColdFusion Expertise

A unique opportunity is available to program solutions for web conferencing and social networking applications using Flex development with ColdFusion. Approximately four years experience in both languages is a plus.
Contract projects and site maintenance initially, but full time with benefits is an option for the person who demonstrates the expertise and vision. Initially, compensation can be on a project or hourly basis with rates based on expertise. Bonus incentives are available for exceptional performance within well defined time frames.
Remote is acceptable, but we have offices in Auburn, CA if that is preferred. We are not seeking “just a programmer”. We want someone to become a key part of the team providing vision and technologies of the future. Code must be solid and clean with applications that are intuitive.
